Who is really an NPC?
If we take the analogy of one’s personal life as the main character in a game, then you are the hero of your story, surrounded by billions of NPCs.
But what if you don’t think for yourself and simply act as dictated? Then you become an NPC in your own story.
People call others NPCs while being NPCs themselves…
Does that sound familiar?
It’s always easier to notice the flaws in others, and it takes far less effort to blame them than to take responsibility for your own actions.
Human beings often follow the path of least resistance without realizing it. It’s also easier to blend into a group—any group—because it feels safer and more secure.
But blindly following the current has led, time and again, to genocides throughout history.
Even now… in our so-called “modern society.”
So, is modernity about creating a world filled only with NPCs?
