The Matrix Awareness Learning Willpower

How are we spending our time?

When asked what’s important to us, family or health make it to the top in the rankings. But we also seem not to have the time for them, yet we spend much time on things that don’t correlate with those principles – time spent on SNS, streaming services, etc..

The truth is we live in a consumption society, and whether we like it or not this is our reality. But we also have the choice to not contribute to it according to our own ethics. In the end, we are the ones choosing how we use our time.

Do we want to spend more time with our loved ones? Then maybe we should put aside our phones, turn off our electronic devices and actually have a conversation with them.

Do we want to get healthier and not become in our old age another old person who barely can move and handle himself? Then we have the choice to take the time doing some exercises and properly think about our current habits.

Do these habits contribute to what is important to us?

Meditation can also be an additional tool to help us disconnect from this world. We can refocus more on ourselves and on the people we care for. By taking the time to prioritize ourselves, we are able to grasp a bit of fresh air in an ever polluted world.

First we want to realize how the society around us is actually impacting our daily lives. Second, we want to realize we are the ones making the choices on how we use our time. Third, we want to act in the way that matches our principles, and we want to do it now.

Let’s unplug and reconnect to our true beliefs!
