It is now widely accepted that climate change is happening—and that its consequences are rather bleak. On top of that, we also understand that the fuels causing this crisis are limited, as are all resources on our shared planet, Earth.
Meanwhile, the entire system remains rooted in a growth-oriented economy that fails to take into account the physical realities of the world.
Talk about incoherency—one that, when recognized, breeds confusion and disillusionment toward our institutions.
Especially among the young, for whom none of this makes sense: pursuing careers that saw off the very branch we are all sitting on.
Limitless salaries in a limited world. Governments blind to physical reality, swayed by the most powerful religion ever created—money.
A system where the richest inflict the most harm on the planet, yet are praised for their actions.
And the irony? They are mere living beings, just like the rest of us.
