More than anything, what perhaps best characterizes children is their genuine innocence.

When gathered together, without the interference of adults, they naturally begin to talk and play with one another—regardless of gender or the color of their skin.

Where you’re born and where you live will greatly influence how this innocence transforms over time.

What’s important to remember, however, is that this innocence still lingers within each of us.

For some, it may seem completely lost; for others, it may feel as though it never left.

There was never a true reason to lose the gift of seeing the world through unfiltered eyes.

Children, who live each present moment as if it were their last, remind us of how we could all choose to spend our time.
