Our modern civilization, through the industrial revolutions, has enabled humankind to use machines that grant superhuman capacities—to reshape the land, cut down forests, and so forth.

This transformation occurred in just a few centuries and has completely altered humanity’s ability to impact the entire world on a global scale.

The comic book The World Without End by Christophe Blain and Jean-Marc Jancovici perfectly illustrates that, thanks to machines, an individual today is the equivalent of Iron Man—able to harness the power of hundreds of “slaves.”

Until recently, on an individual scale, we could not impact or influence the world significantly due to natural physical limitations.

That is no longer the case. As more individuals gain more leverage, the natural balance is being disrupted far more than ever before.

With superhuman strength comes superhuman responsibility.

We are superhuman. The choice is yours.
