As one of the central places in Esperia, the Great Library had many sections, but all of them were interconnected. As much as possible, the Espers tried to remind themselves of the importance of the 7 Shapes.
A section called “The Basics” received particular attention from its Elders, as all young Espers had to learn them first.
They knew all too well that in order to learn new spells or develop new skills, every Esper had to first master some fundamental abilities.
Mastering the common language of Esperia was one of them, along with understanding the links between the 7 Shapes and how the actions of one could influence others or even Nature itself.
Vati, the Shape of Wisdom, always liked to use the example of Kenko, the Shape of Health, to illustrate the importance of the basics.
“You need a rich soil to grow beautiful trees that bear delicious fruits.”
