Shala, The Shape of Time
  • It was a question that often came up in the debates at the Great Library of Esperia, which, since the end of the Chaos War, had served Espers from all over the world as a place to exchange ideas, discuss, and try to find compromises on difficult issues.

The Chaos War had indeed brought to everyone’s attention problems that had already existed for decades, but had been concealed by the illusion of a civilization ever more focused on growth and abundance.

The new fashionable gadgets, made possible in particular by the use of magic, which had developed at a breathtaking pace throughout Esperia, were everywhere, consuming ever more resources for a usefulness that was, quite rightly, being called into question.

The StarDust revealed at the end of the Chaos War became an unexpected catalyst for the Espers.

It was an extraordinary opportunity to rebuild an entire system while finally taking into account the physical reality of the world in which they all lived: the one and only planet they all shared…

    Scales

Of all the 7 Shapes, Eklea was the most difficult to grasp and understand.
