A clearer mind

When I first started working on what would eventually become One Daily Tale, I was first obsessed with the idea that neuroplasticity was the key for a better world.

The simple idea behind it was the following : with a healthier brain, we get more conscious about ourselves and about the world surrounding us.

If enough individuals do the same, like a domino effect, a “healthy brain” movement would emerge, which would eventually become the “natural” new tendance.

While Environment was an evident variable in the equation of how to create a better world, I still wasn’t aware about the actual situation regarding the climate.

Thanks to vulgarization work from Jean-Marc Jancovici, I learned more about the limitations of the resources, how energy and economic development actually goes together as a pair, and how temperance has to become “the new norm”.

Temperance.

This was the missing key in my thoughts. Temperance was the missing link that would finally connect a healthier brain and a cleaner planet.

It makes it clear to me now, that considering the physical limitations of our planet, that temperance is needed.

And a life aiming for a healthier brain almost naturally leads to temperance!
