A Decisive Time

Shala and Vati discussed extensively the development of StarDust throughout the lifetime of an Esper.

One of their conclusions was that even before the birth of a new Esper, the time spent in the mother’s womb had already begun to shape what its future StarDust would eventually become.

Broadly speaking, childhood is the “decisive time.”

Through their study of how StarDust develops over time—through sleep, nourishment, and daily experiences—the Seven Shapes finally understood how crucial this period was for the creation of a harmonious world.

For every newborn Esper, the world as it is remains full of unknowns that must be filled, explained, or at least addressed.

Of course, many mysteries still existed, even for Esperia, but the entire community had been rebuilt with the care of childhood at its very heart.
