A Sincere Willingness to Share

The Chaos War had clearly shown that the cycle of wars would never end as long as people’s mindsets did not evolve.

And the discovery of magic, which had made the civilization of the Espers more prosperous, had in no way changed the way they saw things.

On the contrary, society was becoming increasingly individualistic with technological progress, and where mutual aid and sharing had once been the norm, for the good of all, these values had gradually eroded, eventually almost disappearing and giving way to a world where, under the banner of personal freedom, a consensus that was nevertheless necessary to prevent other tragedies, perhaps even more tragic than conflicts, from breaking out…

For the use of magic had profoundly altered the ecosystem of the entire planet for centuries to come.

And it was in this maelstrom of exacerbated inequalities and an increasingly extreme climate that the Chaos War took place…

Rebuilding Esperia also meant rebuilding bonds between the Espers and planting within each of them a small seed that would give them the willingness to share, sincerely and willingly.

It is through this collective effort that the Espers can truly show their true worth.
The Seven Shapes had understood this well.

And that is also why they tried to change things by writing One Daily Tale…
