Anachronism

Once again, Guruko and Cha Cha, her platypus friend, were discussing the human society they had discovered through a magical mirror.

“Do you believe that on Earth, peace and harmony could prevail if they knew about One Daily Tale?” Guruko asked softly.

“It saddens me to see how some innocent children are suffering in certain places, while the rest of the world remains indifferent. Maybe we could go there and tell everyone that they, too, have a StarDust inside them!” she continued, hope shining in her eyes.

“You are very kind and compassionate. But even if they were to know about it, it would be too soon for them—an anachronism taking root in their history,” thought Cha Cha.

“Esperia was special, as the end of the Chaos War brought StarDust as evidence for all the Espers of that planet. Change was possible because everyone was aware at that time… For change to happen on Earth, a similar phenomenon might be required. But they don’t have magic like us.”

“They do have magic like us!” replied Guruko.

Cha Cha looked surprised.

“They have their StarDust, don’t they?”

Cha Cha smiled.

“You’re right. Things could change when they realize that.”
