Blind Obedience

Eklea, the Shape of Awareness, had the difficult task of “teaching” how to become more conscious. But she knew better than most that there was a paradox in this, for while guidelines can be provided, consciousness can only be achieved by the Esper himself.

A young Esper of Wind gently asked, a bit naively:
“We just have to listen to you and do as you say, right?”

Eklea smiled and replied:
“If I were always right, maybe… But even so, the important part is that you are able to decide and choose by yourself, not simply blindly follow others… even if they are supposed to be the most respectable.”

A young Esper of Earth commented:
“This is too complicated! Can’t we just do as the teacher says, like in the classes regarding our health?”

“Awareness is a bit special,” Eklea said.
“But indeed, working on the other Elements, for a brighter StarDust, can help you understand its principles.”
