By the Union of All

The task of rebuilding Esperia was daunting.

If the consequences still seemed imperceptible, almost nonexistent, the damage had indeed been done.

Aether, the life source of the planet, had been greatly reduced, and the natural process of its regeneration was slow—far slower than its consumption through the use of Esper magic.

From now on, one thing seemed clear to anyone thinking about the well-being of future generations: the current way of using magic recklessly, as if Aether were limitless, could not continue.

Likewise, while for thousands of years the existence of the five elements on the planet had not been known, and the idea that this very planet was shared by all had not yet been understood, it was now time to act together, whatever one’s element.

Easier said than done…

For alas, thousands of years of conflict—even if tensions had sometimes eased—cannot be resolved in the blink of an eye.

And magic is completely useless for that.

The Espers had grown accustomed to solving everything through magic since its discovery.

And although some aspects of their lives had been made easier, the question remained: at what cost?

More and more destructive forms of magic had been developed, making conflicts increasingly violent.

Wanting more, always more.

That had become the guiding principle for all.

And yet, whatever the element, one common thing had been present from the very beginning, but remained invisible to all eyes:
“the StarDust,” which reveals itself only when the five elements unite in harmony.

Through the union of all, a more harmonious future is possible.

One must still be willing…
