Crystal Clear

All five elements had traits and behaviors that felt most natural to them. The Espers of the Wind were well known for their listening skills and for their pure character.

Each Element had a place in Esperia where it was easier to grow and develop.

For the Wind, there was a place known for its crystal-clear beauty, said to be able to reflect one’s true heart.

Through the years, many legends were written about this place, called the Valley of Winds.

It was said that the natural landscape of these valleys created a gentle path for the Winds to become soft breezes, carrying quiet melodies that could bring peace to any troubled heart.

It was not uncommon for Espers from all over Esperia to travel to the Valley of Winds, as a pilgrimage to discover more about themselves.

As nature flourished in this land, it was necessary for all Espers to respect the environment, yet its beauty alone was enough to make anyone want to protect it as much as possible.

This feeling of awe was not only for the crystal-clear landscape, but also for all the living beings that inhabited the planet.

“We soon forget what we don’t see regularly, sometimes to the point that we forget it exists, and fail to protect it,” said Gurumin, the Shape of Empathy.

The Valley of Winds and its legends were there to remind all Espers of the beauty of their planet, and of the beauty that exists within each of them.

Eklea and Vati soon became very good friends. Eklea, the Shape of Awareness, always loved asking questions, which came to her mind as swiftly as her Element of Lightning. I Want to Know

Just as being able to say “I don’t know” is a sign of wisdom, wanting to know—rather than passively accepting things as truth—is yet another mark of it. “It is so easy to accept facts as they are, without trying to understand whether they are true or the reasons behind them,” taught Vati, the Shape…

    A Decisive Time

Shala and Vati discussed extensively the development of StarDust throughout the lifetime of an Esper. One of their conclusions was that even before the birth of a new Esper, the time spent in the mother’s womb had already begun to shape what its future StarDust would eventually become. Broadly speaking, childhood is the “decisive time.”…

    Beliefs

We now understand that humans are drawn to stories. Long before the digital era—or even before writing—knowledge was passed down through generations by stories told aloud. Whenever someone tells a story, it is no longer reality but a fiction that carries beliefs within it. The natural fear of danger within our species makes us adopt…

    A Common Resonance

For this lesson, which was considered one of the most difficult, Faya put a great deal of effort into teaching the Espers about resonance. Though Faya preferred to put things into practice, this lesson was particularly abstract, which is why she asked the other Shapes to help her. “The most difficult part about resonance,” said…

    For your loved ones

Kenko and Gurumin worked together on this course about health and how to promote it, so that even the reluctant Espers would try their best. “I’m free to do as I like!” said a young Esper who didn’t enjoy listening to advice. “Yes, of course you are,” said Gurumin gently. “But why can’t I skip…
