Diversity of Opinions

The Great Library of Esperia had become a life-sized example of what a civilization built on values shared by all could become, regardless of their main element or their origin.

It would have been unimaginable just a few years earlier to see the Espers of the five different elements unite for a single common cause: harmony on their shared planet, for everyone.

This did not mean, however, that diversity of opinions had disappeared.

On the contrary, the Espers were often invited to discuss and debate problematic subjects.

Nevertheless, the awareness that one’s own opinion is not absolute, and that different opinions can exist and coexist, had changed the way the Espers approached problems.

The diversity of opinions, the naturally different sensitivity of each element, and the variety of experiences brought to every debate points of view that would often have been unimaginable to others.

It is said that to solve a difficult problem, one must be able to see it from a different angle than the one in which it was first presented.

This was exactly what the Espers were now doing, actively participating in solving the many difficulties Esperia was facing.

“Tentatively building a haven of peace and harmony with such diversity is a formidable challenge. But now that awareness has become part of Esperia’s way of life, it finally seems achievable!” thought Eklea, the Shape of Consciousness.
