Faya, the Shape of Will, had understood how essential the environment was in shaping the daily behavior of the Espers.
The Fire Espers, for example, had the habit of encouraging and motivating one another, which strengthened their Fire magic.
This was not a common habit among Espers of the other elements, and their Fire magic was therefore often quite weak.
“Whatever an Esper’s base element may be, it is essential to instill the fundamental principles of every element.”
“For the Fire element, we must therefore create a society where encouraging and motivating one another becomes natural and obvious,” Faya thought.
“For just as a newborn is completely dependent on those who care for them until they become sufficiently independent, even as we grow, we all remain dependent on one another, because we live on the same planet, sharing the same resources and influencing each other.”
The Seven Shapes therefore decided to include in Esperia’s Charter the duty to encourage and motivate one another, in order to strengthen one’s Fire magic, that of others, and thus develop one of the elements of the StarDust.
