Fiction and Reality

The Age of Magic had given life to new machines, which were also capable of creating, writing, or speaking.

Just like the Espers, they were capable of inventing stories and creating virtual worlds.

For the Espers, distinguishing fiction from reality was becoming increasingly difficult in a world where the virtual and the real were blending together more and more.

But one thing was certain.

As long as the Espers remained living beings, they would need to live in a physical reality: that of their planet, shared by all, Esperia.

Unlike machines, which only needed magic to act, the Espers had fundamental physiological needs that had to be fulfilled in order to live.

It was under these conditions that the beginnings of the Chaos War started.

The supporters of fiction were gradually becoming more numerous, wishing to develop these new technologies in order to merge with them, granting themselves the possibility of immortality.

A dream for those who cared about nothing but their own existence.

For, indeed, in this race toward fiction, the entire ecosystem of the planet was at stake, and yet it was ignored.
