Freed from the Material World

Like clouds drifting peacefully across the sky, or nature itself, free and carefree, a way of life distant from the material world was increasingly favored on Esperia.

The intensive use of magic had indeed forever destabilized the climate, and Aether, the life source of the planet, had reached a critical threshold and was close to disappearing.

Freeing oneself from the material world made it possible to reconnect with the surrounding nature, to limit the use of magic, and to restore balance to inequalities.

Of course, this change did not come without pain for some.

Those who were most attached to material things had the greatest difficulty accepting the demands of this transformation.

But the discovery of the StarDust had made it easier!

Understanding that one can change, thanks to the light that shines within each of us, was the first step toward a brighter future for all.
