Global Vision of the World

For centuries, the Espers of the different elemental regions had developed without understanding that they were part of a whole.

It was only recently, thanks to the use of magic and the new technologies that had emerged from it, that the Espers had truly begun to grasp the idea of a single, unified civilization.

Just as, on an individual level, we sometimes believe ourselves to be the center of the world, seeing the world only through our own eyes, on the scale of a region, one’s own region can also seem to be the center of the world, with the surrounding lands appearing to be home to barbaric peoples or potential dangers.

“When will we finally act for the good of our civilization as a whole, rather than, as we have until now, as peoples who call others barbarians even though they are the same species, known as Espers?” Eklea, the Shape of Awareness, emphasized during a conference on the crucial importance of acting together.

The Chaos War had ravaged the planet and its ecosystem.

Resources were becoming increasingly scarce, and it was therefore finally necessary to seriously consider organizing their civilization, not only to prevent such tragedies from happening again, but also, and above all, to finally become a truly modern civilization: a civilization in which a global vision was understood by all.

The Espers weren’t creatures made to consider the future as their first priority. They were similar to human beings in many ways: they had to eat and rest. To the best of one’s ability

This chapter of One Daily Tale led at first to many debates among the Espers. Until then, they didn’t know about the StarDust, how to develop it, or how it could help them understand themselves better: the light created by their StarDust would enable them to see their inner Shadow, often hidden deep inside them.…

    Excessive drinking and eating

Kenko, the Shape of Health, knew too well that most of the Espers would not want to hear her words at first. Why? Because she knew that once one has tasted the ease of luxury, of addiction through alcohol, and forgotten the hardship of simply being able to eat every day, it requires far more…
