Rebuilding Esperia on foundations that were fair for everyone, while also keeping harmony with nature in mind, was an extremely complicated task.
The Seven Shapes understood this well, and they knew that their advice would be difficult for many Espers to hear, as they were still attached to the ease of their past lives, which had relied on the unlimited use of magic.
The Espers, the creatures who had become capable of transforming Aether, the source of life, into magic, had little by little grown used to using it for everything, whether for things that truly required it or for things that could have been done without it.
It was difficult for these creatures to question themselves, because it was not natural for them to understand the world as a whole, to separate reality from their own subjectivity, and to accept losing the considerable advantages brought by the use of magic.
Nevertheless, the discovery of the StarDust had brought a glimmer of hope.
Little by little, day by day, by working on developing one’s own StarDust, it becomes possible to change, and finally to hear the good advice that once seemed so difficult to accept.
