Our own extinction?

What kind of world are we going to leave behind for future generations?
Can we really behave so selfishly that, even though we now fully understand how human behavior has impacted the world, we still choose to ignore what must be done—as if nothing will go terribly wrong if we continue doing nothing?

Future generations, not even born yet, have done nothing wrong.
Many of us go through each day doing nothing wrong either.
Yet many of us are still unaware of what’s truly happening.

Earth will continue to exist, even if the conditions to live on it become extremely difficult—for nature, for animals, and for us humans.

There have been extinctions before, caused by natural cataclysms.
But this would be the first of its kind: a well-understood, self-inflicted cataclysm.

This can still be avoided.

The choice is in our hands.

    Perceiving Reality

The development of the civilization of the Espers, greatly accelerated by the use of magic for decades, had gradually distanced them from reality. Their means of food production had developed, but history had shown that even though they were at the top of the pyramid, famines and epidemics…

    Time to Reflect

It had become one of the pillars of the new Esperia. Shala, the Shape of Time, allowed Espers around the world to remember the importance of taking time to reflect. Time that, for many, had been devoted to entertainment before the Chaos War. They absolutely had to kill time. The use of magic had made…
