There was an expression used in Esperia for situations in which opinions were enthusiastically exchanged and discussion was lively: “like the wind blowing.”
But it is no surprise to us that the Element of Wind is involved, is it?
Empathy can lead to debates that bear fruit, because the participants can tolerate opinions different from their own. They can carefully try to listen and not judge beforehand, simply because the argument comes from an Esper of another Element.
According to the principles of One Daily Tale, every Esper, of any Element, had to practice using the Wind Element as well.
Of course, the Espers of the Wind naturally had an easier time during these classes, but each Element has its strengths and weaknesses.
By using the image of the wind blowing, the Espers created a clearer picture in their minds to visualize how to make use of compassion, even in discussions that would usually lead to heated debates.
“The more delicate the topics, the more empathy is required for discussions to stay positive,” said Gurumin, the Shape of Empathy.
