Recognizing Your Own Faults

For the Espers, managing to recover the artifact of lightning, the spark of thunder, was perhaps the most difficult ordeal for most of them.

To do so, they had to cross a region known as the thunderstruck plains, where Aether had accumulated and given birth to a place where lightning struck randomly and without interruption.

Fortunately, this lightning was not dangerous in any way.

But each time an individual was struck by it, a flashback from their past life would reappear: sometimes pleasant moments, sometimes others far more difficult to relive, moments they had tried to forget out of shame or cowardice.

These thunderstruck plains forced anyone who crossed them to face their own reality and offered the right moment to acknowledge their own faults and finally move forward.

For understanding, first and foremost, that no one is perfect also means becoming more humble toward others, who, just like ourselves, must face each new day with very similar anxieties and fears, even if not everyone expresses them in the same way…

Recognizing your own faults is taking the first step toward a better future for everyone.
