Reflecting on a Global Education

Before the Chaos War, Esperia had never been so divided over matters that, nevertheless, had previously been understood among the five elemental lands.

Tensions were rising, trust was at its lowest, between the elements, but also within some of the lands themselves.

Inequalities continued to grow between the winners of an exacerbated globalization and those who were losing out.

Yet it was precisely in this difficult context that action was needed.

Because this was the present moment.

Thinking about the long term rather than seeking immediate solutions, which in the end only served to fuel hateful rhetoric and destroy what had taken decades, or even centuries, to build.

Because yes. Destruction is easy and instantaneous, much like the decisions that were being made more and more often, regardless of the land.

Building connections and thinking about the future, on the other hand, require time, trust, and cooperation between peoples.

It was time to reflect on a global education that would place all peoples, regardless of their land of origin, on an equal footing when it came to the values that would be the common denominator for all.

As always, knowing this is one thing. Acting…

Eklea loved challenging the young Espers with small mental games. “Think about how you see the world. Look around you, and try to imagine viewing it through the eyes of your best friend sitting beside you, the tree in Esperia’s garden nearby, or even one of the countless stars shining in our night sky!” “By…

    Your Loved Ones
