“Without light, no shadow can appear; there is only darkness.”
Cha Cha, our platypus friend, had attended a public event where silence was expected.
Yet among the audience, two spectators paid little attention to this rule and kept talking, disturbing the people around them.
This experience led him to reflect on the Shadow that belongs to each individual, and on why it is essential for everyone to make the personal efforts needed for a society to function harmoniously.
For even if we can try to guide others through our own actions and teach ethics and good values, no one can do the personal work that understanding one’s inner Shadow requires.
To understand it, we must first be able to perceive it, and it only reveals itself once the StarDust has been sufficiently developed.
Without even realizing it, Cha Cha had laid the foundations of a movement of thought that would help bring about the renewal of Esperia.
