Shared Prosperity

Cha Cha, Guruko’s little platypus companion, continued to reflect and write every day.

His journey so far had been rather chaotic, but it was precisely what had allowed him to develop his current vision of the world as a whole.

He had grown up in the country of the lightning element, but both of his parents were originally from the country of the water element.

Indeed, there was once a time when the water element was not truly associated with wisdom. On the contrary, internal conflicts were widespread, which is why his parents’ family had decided to leave and try their luck elsewhere.

That elsewhere became the country of the lightning element, which had a reputation for being welcoming.

But reality was not quite so accurate.

Cha Cha was very different from the others and endured the mockery of his classmates. Yet he managed to rise above it, though the feeling that he was not “at home” had begun to grow.

Little by little, he became increasingly drawn to the country of the wind element, and that was where he met Guruko.

In his writings, he often spoke about how luck plays a major role in the path of a life. Indeed, being exposed to different elements had allowed him to develop a broader vision of the world.

And his conclusion at that moment was clear. The differences between the elements were still poorly understood, but shared prosperity among all elements was the solution worth considering. For at the scale of an individual, developing all of one’s elements made it possible to reveal their StarDust…

    Everything in Its Own Time

The aftermath of the Chaos War on Esperia no longer resembled what it once had been. The use of magic was now subject to restrictions, which had profoundly changed the course of things: there was far less urgency, and far more contemplation of the present moment. Something that had long been forgotten during the period…

    The Consequences of Our Actions

The presence of Atma, the Shape of Balance, had brought something precious and unprecedented to Esperia: a simpler understanding of the importance of balance. • The Freedom to Act

    The Freedom to Act

Developing the element of Fire within one’s StarDust is certainly one of the most counterintuitive things to do. Why? Because it requires us to do things that frustrate us or that we simply do not feel like doing. It means holding back from eating or drinking too much, even during a truly delicious meal. It…

Balance at the Heart of Physical and Mental Health

On Esperia too, health was often at the center of discussions, and for a good reason: seeing suffering is not something one wishes for, neither for oneself, nor for loved ones, nor for strangers, nor even for those who may have caused us harm. This last point may certainly lead to another debate, but a…

Especially if one looked back at the events of the past,…

    Indulgence and Strictness Toward Oneself

Cha Cha, our dear little platypus who thought of himself as a philosopher, reflected on the difficulty of finding a balance between indulgence and strictness toward oneself. Too indulgent, and one lets oneself go, giving free rein to excuses and easily placing the blame on others, on the current situation, or even on the world…
