Strength in Unity

The Seven Shapes had become the symbol that there is strength in unity.

Each elemental land was represented, and while each element had its strengths and weaknesses, the Espers had understood that the union of the elements could create a force far greater than all of them separately.

On an individual level, this developed the StarDust.

On a global level, this made true harmony with the ecosystem possible.

The global scale, which, until before the war, had existed only to serve the economy of a system that had never tried to create a global charter, with the richest helping the poorest.

This had often been seen on the scale of a land, where civil wars had emerged when the gap between the rich and the poor grew greater and greater, and when unity among the populations began to crack.

Just as children need help to develop, lands that had not necessarily had the same opportunities, simply because of their position on the planet, sometimes also needed the empathy of more fortunate lands.

A land with access to an enormous amount of magic had done nothing to deserve it. It was simply the planet that had created these deposits of magic over millions of years, which had later been discovered by the Espers…

On a planet with limited resources, and with enough Espers to have an impact on the ecosystem of the entire planet, it was necessary for everyone to unite their strengths and think about the future of everyone.

The question was simple.

What future did they truly want?

The Seven Shapes understood that until the writings of One Daily Tale reached the majority of the Espers, many would continue to act unaware of their own inner Shadow—and how it often moved on their behalf. Eklea, the Shape of Awareness, perhaps had the most difficult task: to make it clear that skillful deception by…

The Espers weren’t creatures made to consider the future as their first priority. They were similar to human beings in many ways: they had to eat and rest. To the best of one’s ability

This chapter of One Daily Tale led at first to many debates among the Espers. Until then, they didn’t know about the StarDust, how to develop it, or how it could help them understand themselves better: the light created by their StarDust would enable them to see their inner Shadow, often hidden deep inside them.…

    Excessive drinking and eating

Kenko, the Shape of Health, knew too well that most of the Espers would not want to hear her words at first. Why? Because she knew that once one has tasted the ease of luxury, of addiction through alcohol, and forgotten the hardship of simply being able to eat every day, it requires far more…
