The Prism of Wisdom

The end of the War of Chaos had revealed not only the StarDust, but also the artifacts of each element.

For water, it was the Prism of Wisdom.

Every Esper who developed their StarDust in their water element could acquire this artifact, which helped them see, through a prism of tolerance and humility, not only the others and the world around them, but also their inner Shadow.

The discovery of these artifacts had changed the education of young Espers, and an initiatory journey across the world had become an obligation for everyone.

As they crossed each elemental land and acquired its artifact, young Espers learned very early the values specific to each element, thereby developing respect for everyone and a better understanding of their Shadow.

Adults who had not obtained their own artifacts also had to make the personal effort to go and retrieve them.

Although the order in which the artifacts were retrieved was left to each person, many believed that beginning with the Prism of Wisdom made the rest of their journey more peaceful.

For the Prism of Wisdom gave its possessor a clarity of thought that allowed them to approach things with greater gentleness.
