The Wind Artifact

The legendary artifact of the Wind element, discovered at the end of the War of Chaos, was called the Wind Mirror.

Just like the other artifacts, anyone could retrieve it, and the new Esperia even encouraged all Espers to retrieve the artifacts of the five elements, on an initiatory journey that would allow them to better understand themselves.

The Wind Mirror allowed one simple but particularly useful thing: it revealed the inner emotions of the person using it.

The Espers were creatures whose emotions could fluctuate greatly throughout a day, depending on their mood, events, or conversations.

Understanding their reactions according to their emotions was therefore essential for calming the atmosphere in times of tension, or bringing more joy during difficult moments.

The Wind Mirror therefore made it easier to perceive this part that existed within every Esper: their emotions, which belonged to the realm of the Shadow.

This Shadow was neither good nor bad.

But knowing that it existed, and learning to live with it, had become the foundation for rebuilding Esperia.

This was when Faya stood up a…
