Shala, The Shape of Time
  • One thing was certain.

The behavioral instincts linked to the need to meet one’s basic needs were deeply rooted.

The use of magic on Esperia had allowed the wealthiest to overcome those necessities, leaving room for a way around those instincts.

We want more. Always more. No longer out of necessity or precaution. But often out of pure vanity or selfishness, whether conscious or not.

But the presence of Atma had helped the Espers understand that developing one’s StarDust in balance made it possible to become aware of this.

That awareness then allows one to realize that what drives us to always want more can be controlled.

Of course, learning to control oneself when the world constantly dazzles us with promises and wonders is not easy for everyone.

Promoting nobler values was one of the pillars of a fairer and more harmonious world for all.

But the question remained the same:

“Who truly wants such a world when they can enjoy more without worrying about others…?”

    Believe in your Growth

Cha Cha was thinking a lot about the similarities between the StarDust of the Espers and the human brain. In Esperia, this way of thinking had become almost natural and effortless, as the Great Library stood at…
