Too Ordinary?

Reflecting on the societal problems they faced, the Seven Shapes had noticed something thanks to the presence of Atma, the Form of Balance: the Espers had grown so accustomed to seeing extraordinary things that daily routine had become too boring for them, almost unbearable.

But on a planet with limited resources, the ordinary and the restrictions had to regain a central place in everyone’s daily life.

Indeed, the Aether, the source of life and magic on Esperia, had reached a critical point after all the wars. Since magic consumed Aether, each conflict caused losses of this precious life source.

Fortunately for Esperia, the discovery of the StarDust had brought hope for a harmonious life for all: it was a source of Aether!

Thus, the Seven Shapes decided to include in Esperia’s charter the development of each Esper’s StarDust as a duty and responsibility unique to each individual.

The Seven Shapes had also realized that by developing it, it became easier to see the ordinary and the boring no longer as something unbearable, but, on the contrary, as a chance to learn more about oneself and those we love.

For then, we take the time to appreciate the finite time we have to spend on this earth.
