What if we slowed down?

The events that had led Esperia to the Chaos War were numerous.
But one thing was clear: an unstoppable acceleration of everything and everyone had become a reality.

It was a race to develop new technologies, promising anyone who discovered them first an unprecedented advantage.
It was a race for profit, always wanting more, always wanting it faster.

It was an era when waiting was no longer tolerated. Every empty space had to be filled. Every lost moment was no longer a moment spent with oneself, but with what magic had now made possible: endless entertainment.

The Espers blindly rejoiced in having reached an incomparable level of civilization.

And at the same time, communication between them became increasingly difficult, as an exaggerated freedom of the individual had gradually replaced a group cohesion that was already fragile.

While the glitter shone brightly thanks to the rise of magic, trust between individuals began to crack in an almost imperceptible way at first, but it eventually destroyed this fragile structure and reduced it to dust.

Trust and communication, which nevertheless need time to flourish.

Like magic, which consumes in the blink of an eye what the planet took millions of years to create, slowly but surely.

What if we slowed down?
