Yakara

When the Eclipse took place and Eklea vanished, the Shadows of every Esper began whispering thoughts that made them feel certain—they believed they were right, doing what was right, all while thinking they were fully aware.
But in truth, the Shadows had gently slipped blinders over their eyes, making them unable to see the real truth. The Shadows made them believe they already saw clearly, while in fact, they were drifting further away from understanding. And so, they thought others were the ones still lost.

Grandma Luna often told stories to Guruko about the Ancient Times, and she always warned her to be especially wary of Yakara—the one who takes the form of Eklea, but is only the Shadow in disguise.

“Grandma?”
“Yes, dear?”
“So… Yakara is very powerful?”
“Yes, it is…”
“Where does it come from?” Guruko asked, her big sleepy eyes beginning to close.
“Well… that is a very long story.”

She tucked the blanket gently around Guruko, just as she drifted off to sleep.

    Mental Food

Just as our nutrition shapes our health, what we feed our minds also has a powerful influence on who we become. Today, with constant access to an almost infinite stream of information through mobile phones, what we choose to consume becomes the food that nourishes—or weakens—our thoughts. As always, knowing this is one thing. Acting

Eklea loved challenging the young Espers with small mental games. “Think about how you see the world. Look around you, and try to imagine viewing it through the eyes of your best friend sitting beside you, the tree in Esperia’s garden nearby, or even one of the countless stars shining in our night sky!” “By
