You Are Not Alone

Have you ever felt lonely, even while standing in a room full of people, or when you think about the billions of other human beings living on this Earth we all share?

When we think about loneliness, the reason can feel clear: we are all different, born with unique genes and shaped by experiences that can never be repeated in exactly the same way. This creates a natural sense of loneliness, as we sometimes feel misunderstood.

As social creatures, it is a little mysterious how deeply we crave belonging to a group.

We also long to be seen as we truly are, yet at the same time, we fear being rejected for revealing ourselves.

This can make it difficult to share the feelings we hold deep inside. It can create a cycle where we hide who we are, and in doing so, feel even more estranged from the world around us.

Always remember: you are not alone.
