A Trap Named Passivity

Isn’t it easy to simply watch what’s in front of our eyes and go on with our own lives? Yet what we can see now extends far beyond our neighborhood — the entire world is at our doorstep.

Of course, no one can carry all the world’s problems on their own shoulders. But that doesn’t mean we cannot embrace our responsibility as human beings sharing the limited resources of the only planet we have.

Passivity is the trap that hinders change in this world.

And sadly, those who act are not always the “good guys.” On the contrary, greed and the pursuit of fame or status are often what drive action.

There are billions of human beings on Earth. If billions of people shared not only a planet, but also values grounded in physical reality…

There would be no better time to act than now.
