Achieving One’s Goals

When they had begun to reflect on how to rebuild Esperia on healthy foundations, the Seven Shapes had been confronted with many problems.
Thinking about a society living in peace and harmony as a whole is obviously not an easy task!

They had also quickly understood that the decisions they would make, even after consulting the Espers of each element, would often be contested by those who were not yet ready to turn the page, or by others who still did not understand the critical situation in which their existence on their planet stood.

“The first step is to clearly define the directions to reach,” began Vati, the Shape of Wisdom.

“The Five elements are already the areas to develop at the individual level,” continued Eklea, the Shape of Consciousness.

“We also need objectives at the level of groups of individuals, up to Esperia as a whole…” added Gurumin, the Shape of Empathy.

With clear common goals to reach, young Espers will find their own path more easily and will have more willpower to achieve them,” commented Faya, the Shape of Willpower.

“We have clearly understood that having precise goals and working toward them helps prevent despair despite difficulties, and helps maintain good mental health in situations that sometimes seem destined to fail,” commented Kenko, the Shape of Health.

    My Heart Will Go On

Gurumin, the Shape of Empathy, understood more than anyone else the power of sound and music to soothe minds. It was soon discovered that music held a mysterious ability: to create a harmonious resonance among all the StarDusts who heard the same song. Gurumin naturally loved to hum sweet melodies which, as the Element of…

    The StarDust and the Shadow

Vati, the Shape of Wisdom, stumbled upon the discovery of not only the StarDust, but also the Shadow. Every living creature possessed a Shadow that could be revealed only when its own StarDust was finally unlocked. Unstable Balance

For many systems, there exists both a stable and an unstable balance.A stable balance will return to its original state even if some conditions change. An unstable one will not. To Wipe the Slate Clean

This concept was understood to be crucial for the development of harmony in Esperia. Shala, in particular, was the initiator of this, for she knew that if time was not taken to reflect on the past and to move forward, grudges and resentments would always linger in the Shadow of every Esper— even in the…

    Darkness and Starlight

Cha Cha, our beloved platypus, gazed at the cloudless sky, illuminated by countless stars that made him reflect on how small his own existence was compared to the vastness of the universe. Know Your Enemy

This was the title of a class given by Faya, the Shape of Willpower, and Element of Fire. The Espers were a little surprised, since the principles of Esperia were rooted in global harmony. Who, then, could be called an enemy? “Now that we know about the StarDust, we also know about our own Shadow, don’t…

    Leader by Example

Kenko, the Shape of Health and the Element of Earth, wasn’t the most eloquent of the Shapes. Her lessons were often very practical, and though she didn’t think much about it, she was the type who led by example. Of course, using one’s own body requires more than words. For exercise, theory alone isn’t enough—you…

    The Shadow

When the StarDust was discovered, for the very first time its light revealed that within every living form lingered what the 7 Shapes called the Shadow. Eklea, the Shape of Awareness and the Element of Lightning, soon realized that just as a regular shadow requires a source of light to be seen, the same concept…
