Bended truth

Not long ago, we talked about the importance of deepening one’s knowledge of the information that flows through modern society.

Because by being aware that what is displayed as truth is not always the case, and is often bent by those in power, it becomes possible to detach ourselves from the ways they try to shape people’s minds.

Even on Esperia, led by Yakara, some individuals began to preach their own truth about how the Chaos War ended, and how Yakara was the sole leader and benefactor of Esperia.

“Who are we supposed to believe then?” was the pertinent question—one that only the Espers with enough awareness could ask themselves.

The younger ones, especially, were soon blinded by the speeches of Yakara, who promised wealth and glory to anyone who chose to follow in his footsteps.

For a young Esper, the “choice” was often quickly decided… Who would naturally want to restrain themselves for the good of the world when they are offered a way to avoid making the effort themselves?

Are you able to perceive the bended truth that surrounds you?

The Seven Shapes understood that until the writings of One Daily Tale reached the majority of the Espers, many would continue to act unaware of their own inner Shadow—and how it often moved on their behalf. The Espers weren’t creatures made to consider the future as their first priority. They were similar to human beings in many ways: they had to eat and rest. Esperia, their planet, also had a star it revolved around, creating a cycle of day and night that influenced when they were awake or asleep. With all these

To the best of one’s ability

This chapter of One Daily Tale led at first to many debates among the Espers. Until then, they didn’t know about the StarDust, how to develop it, or how it could help them understand themselves better: the light created by their StarDust would enable them to see their inner Shadow, often hidden deep inside them.

    Excessive drinking and eating

Kenko, the Shape of Health, knew too well that most of the Espers would not want to hear her words at first. Why? Because she knew that once one has tasted the ease of luxury, of addiction through alcohol, and forgotten the hardship of simply being able to eat every day, it requires far more
