Ever wonder why it feels so frustrating when you’re trying to learn new things?

You feel like you’re not making progress, or you’re already forgetting what you just learned?

This is exactly what learning looks like!

Without this kind of friction when we do new things, our brain would have no reason to change, adapt, and form the new connections that make learning possible!

The Espers of Esperia always remembered the benefits of frustration when facing the challenges of learning something new.

No Esper was born with the ability to summon elementals or shoot lightning on a whim!

They had to practice and face the unfamiliar difficulties that lay ahead. It was challenging, of course—but little by little, with help from friends or elders sometimes, and through their own effort in the end, they could achieve great things.

Faya would sometimes say: “The harder it feels, the more I want to jump into it.”
