Loss of Sight of the Essential

Since the end of the War of Chaos, Esperia had changed in many ways, making it almost unrecognizable from what it once was.

While some remain nostalgic for that time, when they were the most powerful users of magic on the planet, they were nevertheless not the only ones to have lost sight of the essential.

The use of magic had intensified with its emergence, whatever the element: water, wind, lightning, earth, and fire.

Magic had made life so much easier that, little by little, the relationship of the Espers — the creatures who had developed the use of magic — with nature and their planet had faded away.

Some had already understood that the use of magic had a cost: Aether, the life source of the planet, was consumed a little more with each use.

But, having lost sight of a world without magic, no one was capable of restraining its use, blaming the other elements and gradually destroying the trust that had been so difficult to build between the five elements.

No one had realized that the five elements were only part of a whole, and that the solution had been before their eyes from the very beginning: the essential lay in the cooperation of the five elements, together.

This cooperation, at the scale of an Esper and the elements, is called the StarDust…

    Healthy Growth

The discovery of the StarDust had led the Espers to take a closer interest in how to develop it. One thing was clear in any case: it already shone extremely brightly, naturally, during pregnancy, but also throughout childhood. The Seven Shapes had therefore thought it necessary to create a society that promotes the healthy growth…

Losing Sight of What Matters Most

Simba, our little monkey friend, had roamed across the lands of the different elements. On Equal Terms

Cha Cha, our dear little platypus friend, was discussing one of his theories with Guruko. “When you think about a relationship on equal terms, we don’t usually think about comparing individuals from different countries. On Esperia, the notion of time was not so different from that on Earth. But the presence of Shala, the Shape of Time, had gradually changed the Espers’ approach to…

    For a Common Goal

On paper, everything seemed clear and obvious. At least, for those who had taken the time to look into the problem. And that is no doubt where the root of the lack of cohesion for a common goal lies. Who truly took the time to look into the problem? To do so, one must first…

That Is None of Our Concern

Since the rise of magic on Esperia, the means of communication had greatly changed. Until then, it had been difficult to obtain information from the other side of the planet in a short time; now, it had become extremely easy to receive news within seconds. Nevertheless, in both cases, the truthfulness of statements and information…
