Sowing the Seeds of Awareness

Each Esper saw the world in a different way.

But the reality of the physical world in which they all lived was, indeed, shared by all.

In this context, some Espers were more aware of their vision of the world and of how closely it reflected reality.

Children, who were born without any knowledge, could then be educated toward a vision of the world that was more or less close to reality.

This education was shaped by society, and that was a choice made by society as a whole.

And for a civilization whose gaze was turning further and further away from reality, this education was turning away from it as well.

Yet some Espers continued, despite everything, to see the world with that touch of awareness that sometimes made them “different” from the others.

This awareness was possible for everyone.

The question was then a difficult one for the Espers who possessed this awareness.

Some believed that it was not their responsibility to sow the seeds of awareness in others.

But then, who would?
