Synergistic Cooperation

The Seven Shapes had clearly understood that while ideas could give birth to utopias, addressing the reality of a problem obviously required practical implementation, a plan, and achievable concrete actions.

“It is necessary to involve the Five Elements. If nothing has truly been done in that direction until now, then it is indeed time to finally create a cooperation that will, moreover, be synergistic,” commented Vati.

“Synergistic?” asked Kenko.

“Yes. While each element has been able to develop considerably on its own, by combining their efforts, the results can be multiplied.”

Eklea added:

“By accepting each other’s strengths and weaknesses, by recognizing that differences exist without any bias of superiority, we can create a system of independent actors who nevertheless act for the same cause.”

“Rather than trying at all costs to elevate only one’s own element, we must elevate all the elements, for the Espers of course, but also for the other life forms on the planet.

Kenko continued:

“Yes, because health also depends, of course, on the environment in which we live. It has been facing a major crisis since the War of Chaos… But at least now we know how crucial the ecosystem in which we live is for everyone.”

“So it begins by creating a system in which essential values are discussed systematically, every day, by the Five Elements,” thought Faya.

“Yes, because our StarDust must be nourished day after day…” added Gurumin.

Trying to build a world where peace would prevail was not an easy mission at all. There were so many things to take into account, but the Seven Shapes agreed that flexibility should remain a point of focus. The Element of Wind focused on interactions with others more than the other elements. Of course, being of another element like Fire or Water didn’t prevent one from leaning toward this trait, but the Espers of the Wind had the most natural affinity for it. Instinctively, they could sense the presence of their inner Shadow,…

Though the discovery of the StarDust was a huge leap forward for Esperia, there was still a lot of work to do. Indeed, some Espers still couldn’t believe in it and did not accept the fact that they had within them a Shadow they couldn’t control. However, the Seven Shapes truly believed that harmony in…
