Taking Time

The events that preceded the beginning of the War of Chaos nevertheless carried a sense of déjà vu.

Each of the elements was caught in a frantic race to develop new technologies that would allow them, on the one hand, to satisfy their desire to dominate the world and, on the other, to pursue their dreams of immortality.

Shala, the Shape of Time, watched with sadness as this civilization, once again, caused harm not only to itself, but also to the planet’s global ecosystem.

If only they would take the time…” she thought.

Yet small voices were beginning to rise everywhere, calling for a fairer world that would finally take into account the real challenges that needed to be faced right now.

Challenges that were nevertheless pushed into the background by leaders who were increasingly driven by profit and the acceleration of growth, no matter the cost.

Small voices that understood that the moment was crucial, and that taking the time to ask the right questions, to reflect on them together, and to dedicate themselves to solving them had become vital.

Not for themselves, because the consequences would only be felt in the years to come.

But for future generations.

What kind of world would they leave to those who had not even been born yet to have a say…
