Theory and Practice

Kenko, the Shape of Health, worked very hard to create the lessons about health. It was considered one of the most important subjects, for health is the foundation of one’s life!

She soon realized that she needed the cooperation of all the other Shapes so that health would hold the central place it deserved among all the Espers. To do what was best for them, they first needed knowledge about it, and so she asked Vati to build an easy-to-understand theory on health.

Atma, the Shape of Balance, helped remind everyone that overdoing things in either direction goes against the natural flow of life.

And of course, Kenko believed that practicing what was learned was the best way to confirm understanding—and the only way to show real progress.

For good health can only be achieved by the Esper itself. No one can exercise or eat properly in its place.

A long time ago, when Shala first witnessed Chaos reigning— with the Five Elements and the Espers fighting tirelessly for thousands of years — she would never have dreamt that it would one day become the land of peace and harmony: Esperia. When the StarDust first appeared before the Five Elements, and the Espers who had battled for an endless time, it brought an eerie sensation of plenitude and stillness. Sad but True

Climate change caused by humans is a fact. In just a few hundred years, the use—and abuse—of fossil fuels to develop “human civilization” has shaped a world whose dire consequences we can only begin to fathom. Perhaps—if you’ve thought about it. Does it mean we are bound by where we start? Of course not. But realizing that the starting point is not the same…

    Where ignorance is bliss…

…it is folly to be wise. Cha Cha reflected on this sentence. It was written in the 18th century by an English poet. At that time, all energy sources were renewable, with little risk of real damage to the environment, as everything was powered by natural elements or living beings. Sadly, history also shows that…

  • The Chaos War

    The Chaos War

It took quite a long time before the Shape of Balance, Atma, and the meaning behind the word “Balance” finally became one of the accepted and evident keys to harmony in Esperia. In principle, it’s simple! In a world with limited resources, there is a clear need for restraint among the living beings who share,…
