Wishing for peace

Guruko and her platypus companion, Cha Cha, were thinking about how Esperia finally became a planet where peace prevailed.

“There were wars for thousands of years. How come it never happened before?” asked Guruko.

“The end of the Chaos War was the beginning of it all. When the Five Great Elements clashed all at once with their most powerful magic, it revealed to us the existence of the StarDust,” replied Cha Cha.

“While it was there, inside us, from the beginning, we just didn’t know about it. Or about how developing it could help us understand ourselves better! Because it enables us to see our inner Shadow, which, just like the StarDust, is inside every Esper.”

“To be truthful, it was just a matter of luck and timing that the StarDust was revealed during this war. But now that the Espers of all Five Elements understand the need to work together, wishing for peace wasn’t just a dream anymore.”

“Everyone secretly wished for peace individually, but not being able to trust and understand each other was the first obstacle. Not only between different Elements, but within the same ones as well… With the StarDust in play, it created the foundation for a world where harmony was at the core, with nature and within the Five Elements, by emphasizing the importance of developing one’s StarDust…”
