A Critical Situation

The discovery of Aether, the precious life source of the planet Esperia, had led the Espers of the entire world to a realization: until then, without knowing it, they had lived in a way that had placed Esperia in a critical situation.

The countless conflicts between the Five elements were gradually consuming this Aether.

Indeed, every magic used consumed this precious resource, and the more powerful the magic was, the greater its consumption became.

The War of Chaos was the first war in which all Five elements of the planet took part.
The most powerful Espers of each element possessed magics of a power never seen before.

At the peak of the War of Chaos, the Five Great elements used their most powerful magic at the same moment.

The combination of these extreme magics of Water, Wind, Lightning, Earth, and Fire produced a burst of exceptional brilliance and revealed to all the existence of the StarDust.

“We were truly in a critical situation. It was only by chance that we discovered the StarDust,” recalled Vati, Great element of Water, who had become the Shape of Wisdom after the end of the War of Chaos.

“Yes, it was a realization for everyone, and it allowed us to rebuild Esperia on new foundations, more just and finally in harmony with our dear planet Esperia…” concluded Eklea, Great element of Lightning, who had become the Shape of Consciousness.

    Of Balance and Waves

When Atma was born, she brought with her a new concept. Balance in everything is like a wave: the cycle of day and night, the turning of the seasons, even life and death. There were natural rhythms all around Esperia, and when one looked more closely, they all seemed like waves. Sound, light, the flow…

    Back to the Future

On Esperia, the presence of Shala, the Shape of Time, was essential to help the Espers grasp the notions of future, past, and present. Why? Because any past or future action is nothing more than an action that has once been done in the present! And thus, it was difficult for the Espers to fully…
