Cha Cha, our little platypus companion, gazed once again into the magic mirror at this unknown civilization, which nevertheless had many things in common with that of the Espers.
This civilization called itself “magnificent.”
But as Cha Cha became more interested in their planet, their history, and their evolution, “magnificent” was not really the word that came to his mind.
The use of that word by someone who seemed to hold a high position in their hierarchy only made him more puzzled.
Cha Cha, who was also developing his own StarDust, knew that it was important to keep the idea of balance in mind, so he tried to think of counterarguments that might lead him to believe this civilization was not simply foolish…
“On an individual level, we often see acts of kindness.”
“And yet, not from everyone, nor toward everyone. There are simply too many arguments pointing to a selfish and destructive civilization…”
But as he compared them with the civilization of the Espers before the present era, before the Seven Shapes and One Daily Tale, he realized something.
“This human civilization also needs to understand one thing. Just as the Espers have their own StarDust, humans also carry something within themselves that resembles it… And they should finally begin to bring it forward…”
