Bended truth

Not long ago, we talked about the importance of deepening one’s knowledge of the information that flows through modern society.

Because by being aware that what is displayed as truth is not always the case, and is often bent by those in power, it becomes possible to detach ourselves from the ways they try to shape people’s minds.

Even on Esperia, led by Yakara, some individuals began to preach their own truth about how the Chaos War ended, and how Yakara was the sole leader and benefactor of Esperia.

“Who are we supposed to believe then?” was the pertinent question—one that only the Espers with enough awareness could ask themselves.

The younger ones, especially, were soon blinded by the speeches of Yakara, who promised wealth and glory to anyone who chose to follow in his footsteps.

For a young Esper, the “choice” was often quickly decided… Who would naturally want to restrain themselves for the good of the world when they are offered a way to avoid making the effort themselves?

Are you able to perceive the bended truth that surrounds you?
