Eklea, the Shape of Awareness, was giving a lesson today at the Great Library of Esperia.
Rebuilding the civilization of the Espers would take time and require everyone’s efforts toward a goal understood and embraced by all.
That was no small task, was it?
Especially if one looked back at the events of the past, which showed a civilization that seemed in no way capable of such an achievement.
But the Seven Shapes refused to give up. They were now convinced that the discovery of the StarDust might be the missing key that would allow their civilization to reach a true consensus.
The theme of today’s discussion was the Shadow, which exists within every Esper, and how it creates a bubble in which values and the things that truly matter become confined.
For children, for example, the Shadow has not yet developed, and so their bubble knows no limits: carefree hearts and boundless imagination are simply their natural state, allowing their bubble to embrace everything on the planet.
As they grow older, the Shadow takes shape and often shrinks that bubble until it is little larger than the individual. Just like the Shadow—which can only be seen and tamed after developing one’s StarDust—this bubble is invisible at first glance.
Many things shape its size and form: education, experiences, relationships with other Espers, knowledge…
“The unspoken goal is for every Esper to develop enough StarDust and tame enough of their Shadow so that their bubble expands infinitely, just as it did when they were children…” Eklea said with a smile.
“Now that we know about the StarDust, that goal is no longer a fantasy, but a reality that requires everyone’s efforts to become possible!”
