Good Food for Good Health

The Espers of Earth were the most familiar with food production. Their Element, Earth, was perfectly suited for it, as rich soils are the foundation of good food. They were also known for their robust health, so the connection between good food and good health was quickly understood by them.

And for good reason! Vati, the Shape of Wisdom, and Kenko, the Shape of Health, worked together to explore the relationship between food and well-being.

Who could have known, thousands of years ago—when knowledge was far less developed than it is now on Esperia—that what you consume could make you healthier?

Poisonous or harmful food was far easier to recognize. With the instinct to survive, and the fact that bad experiences are learned far faster, it was simple to detect that certain foods could be dangerous.

But that good food brought good health? That was not so evident.

Vati and Kenko enlisted the help of Eklea, the Shape of Awareness, to spread this idea: being conscious of what you eat can help you become healthier.

“Good food for good health, and for a brighter StarDust!” became a leitmotif, known far and wide across Esperia.
