Mental Overload

Simba, our lovely little monkey-like creature, heard something extremely valuable.

Not only does the body have limits, but so does the mind!

If you exercise too much, it can lead to injuries. The same is true for mental health. The mind is like a reservoir that can fill with all kinds of emotions. Sometimes it can accumulate so much that it overflows, causing mental distress in many forms.

Simba had heard about a few techniques to lighten the load on one’s mind.

He practiced meditation as often as he could.

He also exercised his body, knowing that mental health is always connected to physical health.

He began keeping a diary, where he could record his daily train of thought. It was during this time that Simba first realized he enjoyed writing, and began to believe that maybe his words could reach others as well.
